Elevate is SkyCity’s Rangatahi Employee Resource Group, created to support and uplift young people as they navigate the workforce. We’re here to amplify rangatahi voices, champion inclusive workplace culture, and create meaningful opportunities for connection, growth, and leadership.
What started as a movement within our own workplace to support young talent, has grown into a wider platform for change — one that champions inter-generational leadership and prepares workplaces for the future.
In 2024, we received a grant that empowered us to take on a bold challenge: delivering our first-ever conference focused on Gen Z and the workplace — The Future of Work: From A to Gen Z. That experience taught us a huge amount about what young people want, what workplaces need, and how powerful it is when all generations come together to shape what’s next.
Now, we’re building something even bigger. Our next conference bring sthe whole workplace into the conversation, celebrating every generation, role, and identity that makes SkyCity what it is. Grounded in our values of inclusivity, collaboration, and Rangatahi-led innovation, we’re committed to creating spaces where everyone feels empowered to contribute to the future of work.
